Never seen side covers like these. Have you? Still on the fence if I like them or not.

I've seen them before, and like you I'm not sure I like them. The older Goldwings had similar covers, made by Markland (?) I believe....

Corbin's sidecovers.

Here they are with Corbin seat and Beetle bags.

I like them, put them on my ride over ten yrs. ago. Just my opinion.  Wink

They're not too clear in the picture but at least you'll never bust a tab. Of course, if you remove the OEM version properly you won't bust one of those either.  Grin

One of the best looking bumblebees I ever saw had the Corbin
sidecovers...

And Smokin' Joe has them on his scallop bike...

I think they are pretty sharp. I also think they would be better with one of those plastic buttons over the nut. (Like you see on modern car bumpers)

I like them because they're different.

A set of them that has been chromed would look really good.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about those are actually the sonar transceivers for backup object detection.

As far as the Corbin sidecovers, I wasn't a fan of 'em back when they were readily available, but they've definitely grown on me over time, especially since they're on some of the sharper Valks out there...

...another reminder that I wish I'd dropped a few grand on random accessories back in the early days just to hold on to 'em and sell 'em today...
