I know allot of people don't like OZ, myself I use him as reference. But this last Thursday he had this guy on, that has web sites to create Fake News. The thing that got me, was his smug attitude and had no regrets for what he does.  The makes six figures misleading people and causing chaos. I had to walk out of the room, so I didn't pop a blood vessels. Did anyone catch it, it was on 2.23.17 about the Fake News part.

I saw him talking about on Fox n Friends.

They feed the frenzy and get rich doing it, without caring how detrimental all this is.

I feel the same way about those so-called comedy shows that so many watch to get their opinions and news from.  It's comedy, so it doesn't have to be real.

So, how about this one..........Reported in the Washington Post and CNN

The story goes like this.......

#2 in the FBI gets in touch with the WH and tells them that they are aware that the stories in the NY Times regarding contact between Russia and the Trump team around the time of the election were false and grossly overstated.  So, the WH asks the FBI if they could talk to the media to stop the insanity.  FBI says nope, we can't do that.

When I read this, my take home message was that the FBI is pointing out the fake news and that there's nothing to all that bull$hit and it can be put to rest and the left can go on and find something else to hate him about.

Looks like I was wrong.  The take home message was that the WH did bad again by asking the FBI to stop the press from perpetuating fake news and this amounts to overstepping, yadda, yadda, yadda, worst thing ever, yadda, yadda, yadda, impeach, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Again, how did things get so backwards in this country?

I've watched a couple dozen shows since he's been on the air.  90% sound medical advice.  I have to concede the other 10% to him as he has to come up with something for a show EVERY day.

You've just described the entire internet...it's seriously the Wild Wild West...absolutely anybody has a voice there.

It's on you...to know who you are listening too.

Of course...this is not substantially different from the print and broadcast media either...

An educated consumer is the key...unfortunately we've abandoned all pretense of providing a good/balanced education.

My point is the Fake News, not women's health. You can hear about from where ever about Fake News and just brush it off. To me, when I see it come out of the author's mouth, I listen and I learn, then I make my choices.

Hooter, Health people don't graze and don't eat like cattle. Healthy people don't eat the chemicals that unhealthy people do.  Meat and potatoes wont hurt you, it is the chemicals in it that will. you just eat healthy foods, that all. Of course Michigan is high on the list of unhealthy and obese people in the US

Dreammaker,  If you have the good fortune of a high metabolism rate, moderate eating will not put on the weight, even at an older age.

On the other hand, it is extremely hard to keep from putting on weight as you get older and everything slows down, including metabolism  .............I know, at almost 89 years of age.

As far as chemicals in the food chain, the jury is still out on that.  Health food stores would have you believe all kinds of "facts"  and maybe also some false facts.  They are in the business to sell "natural" products and lots of them.  Wink

Eventually, each person must use his(hers) experience in life to figure things out.

In my experience and opinion, many earning a living in television are not exactly the ones to give us advice.

G-Man, I've been following the same story with the same conclusions.  Very frustrating.
