Working in the side yard walking across a heavily leafed area.

Right foot into hole deep enough that my tennis shoe came off.

Crashed onto right side with elbow and knee coming into brutal contact with bush stumps hidden in the leaves.

Right elbow

Right knee

Red neck band aid. There's a real one underneath.

Moral off story. Fill in the holes and cut the bush stumps to below grade.  Roll Eyes

that elbow/arm area may need stitches if deep enough?

I slammed a 1700lb. total weight trailer onto my left pinky finger with mittens on in the wintertime barely able to slide it on out of the tongue area and the smashed bruised crease in my pinky finger was throbbing for hours and ripped open pretty deep in the pinky finger inside groove/joint where it bends.  I should have gone to dr. to get stitches but it was a deep cut down to the bone almost. It heeled after a few weeks sealing itself back up eventually but left a permanent scare for life there in that crease/joint of my pinky finger.

Looks worse than it is. Took the skin off but stopped bleeding quite quickly. Even after I washed it out it stopped bleeding quickly. Packed with neosporin and doesn't hurt. Knee hurts more.

schit happens. About twenty years ago while using a sewer snake to unclog a toilet I was doing a dumb thing, wearing gloves. The power snake caught the glove and twisted my hand up in it.I was licky in that it had a foot control with reverse. I gently reversed it an got free with only a broken pinky finger on my left hand. I have a permanent bent finger. When people ask what happen to my finger I always say a snake got me. 2funny 2funny By the way I'm glad you will be OK an watch out for those gopher holes.

Glad it wasn't any worse for you, Britman. Maybe you should just go for a motorcycle ride. It seems safer. Smiley
