DeSmog - airbox question

I'm finishing up a carb rebuild, desmog and cooling system refresh on my 99 Tourer. I'm using Redeye's shiny desmog kit. I've got the carbs sitting back in the bike, and the airbox sitting in place without the intakes installed. I plugged the one hole in the airbox according to the Redeye instructions. That leaves me two places to attach hoses to the airbox. I've got the hose for the puke tube, but I don't see anything else to hook to the other nipple. Can I just plug the extra one off, or have I screwed up and need to tear stuff back out and redo something?

Which one have you installed, there's a rather large one and a smaller diameter one. Keep looking, they're both in there, you don't want to leave them off 'cuz you'll be sucking unfiltered air into the airbox.

Look on this, it will give you an idea of what to look for.

Only the Honda Engineers know why the system is designed as it is, my guess would be for air equalization.

You should have the tube there, must just be hiding on ya.

Thanks for the info folks.
Sometimes you just need to step away and take another look.
I had plugged the wrong hole (insert joke if you like) on the bottom of the airbox. Once I corrected that, it was all fun again.

Easy - #10 is the air/water separator for the crankcase ventilation, which also catches oil droplets, while #23 drains any water that may get trapped in the filter box. Both are combined to the one outlet tube #24 for cleanout.

The drool tube is the smaller orange one that runs to the bottom of the bike.  The other line is hidden up behind the ignition switch and comes off of the breather box.  Those two need to be connected.
