I know these are long gone and who has enough money to buy a used one if they come up. But, I am wondering if there is anything out there similar that would work?

Thanks

I think there is a thread on here where someone modified an existing solo rack (or short bag rack), and did a very nice job.  That's got to be easier than making one from scratch.

Edit: you beat me to it Poppa.   cooldude

I think it was this one (or similar).  This is not made to fit Valks.

You can't tie anything to one, but to protect your paint (and hide the bolt hole), you can get a Mustang fender bib.

BTW, Custom World International (in Quebec) makes a lot of unique items, including solo racks that are actually flat and not curved.  But they are expensive, and the site is (or used to be) in French, and is hard to navigate.  No idea about Valk fitments.

I put one of these on my wife's 1100 Yami custom.

I purchased one of the seat rails from Barry @ Big Bike Things just before Christmas. While conversing with him about my purchase. I pointed out to him that, on his website. Every pic of the seat rail was shown on a bike with a fender rail. I suggested(maybe pleaded) that he ought to do a run of fender rails also. He told me he'd think about it after the first of the year. I contacted him again at such time and he said probably not, his calendar was full  Cry .  I would hope that if enough guys contacted him. He would find time to make a few rail$. So, if you have time and really want a fender rail, shoot him an email! He seems to be a great guy and don't forget a business owner. In the business of making $$!
