Thanks for posting! Nature's beauty never gets tiring!
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

Unless I am mistaken , the trees are covered with hoar frost. Temperature and humidity has to be just right. It is an amazing sight. It lasts until temperature change occurs.

Paul, great post. Thanks. :cooldude:

It is truly amazing what you can do with a GoPro and a Drone.

All it takes is imagination and, of course, Mother Nature's cooperation.

brings me back growing up in WI when I got permission to drive Dad's 1976 and more so his 1986 caprice classic in the wintertime in a snow covered parking lot doing DONUTS all the time very easy to do and FUN and SAFE.

that sure is pretty country down there though rolling STEEP hills and was awesome to see even if just driving thru part of that country a few short hours on way home from Washington DC area 2 years ago.

Drones and good video cameras are made for this type of enjoyable video/scenery.  A few people are using drones locally and getting paid for it to fly over farms and take nice pictures for farmers that they can make bigger and frame in their farm houses.    Sure beats having to pay for an airplane to fly over and snap pics of their farms.

My neighbor bought one of those over 1K drones but returned to store after his wife found out how much he paid for it.  Luckily there is a 30 day return policy getting all his money back and still using it for 8-10 times or so.  ONLY bad thing is about 30-40 minutes is all of flying time before having to recharge.

Another thing you can do with his fancier one of the more expensive drones is to program it to follow you on your cycle having a locator to a fixed object and still be able to avoid trees or objects in the way able to keep up with you as long as not going super fast it will follow, or is suppose to anyways?  We tried it out before he returned it and he linked it to me and I ran as fast as I could for as long as I could (not very far for a fat middle aged man - LOL) but it did keep right up with me easy enough for 40-60 yards of fast running in different curvy directions in an open field though with only one small tree in the way.  I was going to get my bicycle or scooter and try it follwing me around the block but he did not want to take the chance of ruining it set on auto follow mode since was returning it to store soon after that day.
