I did something a little out of character this evening. Myself, son Andy, his wife and my Grandson Mason went to an actual Vinyl record shop in Indy and stood crowded shoulder with a bunch of other people until The Reverend Payton & the Big Damn Band got there to do a few songs and autograph their newest CD.
When I was first introduced to this bands music I wasn't sure what to think but they've grown on me. They're a semi-local band from the Brown County area and I've decided I like their brand of Hardcore PoDunk music. I also like occasionally riding past roads that are mentioned in their songs when I'm riding in the Brown County area.
I also thought it was funny that although I didn't wear my bibs I saw several people in the audience who were. Carharts, bibs and the Broad Ripple area of Indy probably don't often go together but they did for a while this evening.
