Lost a highway peg riding back from Lacrosse that bounced past Gman and Cheryl
Lost my left mickopeg on the way back from WV inzane
Lost Fred the gps holder a kickstand spring and an air horn in Alabama riding back with Wild6 from GOTF
The cover to the voltmeter and the foglite button on potholes in NYC

Today while tackling a couple of feet of snow the left wheel broke clear off my snow blower   Pushing a one stage blower up a steep driveway was some good exercise,  Now I put down a generous layer of calcium chloride as I think we are getting freezing rain soon

Sure hope there wont be any more big snow storms this spring

How did you folks in New England make out? G-Man, HarryC

good thing some things are more securely attached

Hard to tell how much we got, looking out at the deck, there's 2 ft+ drifted against the house but only 6" on the picnic table.  None on the railings.

The wind is what was made this storm, had white out conditions for hours.

Seems like it's pretty much over, sky's brightening and just very light snow falling, radar shows nothing coming.

Time to fire up the Bobcat.

STELLA!!!  More bark than bite.

Two words Evan (at least for the bikes) Loctite Blue. I use so much of it I should own stock, but I never lost anything on the road. The snowblower wheel. Hmmm...those are usually pinned, must have sheared one. Storm still going on here. I'd guess close to 2 feet of snow by now. I've been out twice with the snowblower today, and will probably be out again later. I've seen worse in the NE over the years but this is a good'in. Lol

Here is the wheel  definitely totally fubar  lol
still had tread on it, unlike my bike tires no nips on the side of the tread

the stuff in the middle is shoo goop which bonded really great to the wheel but not the axle fitting. Stuff works on plastic and leather really well.

Yeah, I have a steep driveway, like yours Oss, albeit a bit longer. Here was my reward for using my little snow blower.

Evan I am not sure what shoe goo is but I am almost positive it isn't going to fix a snow blower.  cooldude

how can stuff fly off the Valkyrie since so smooth?  I never have had that happen but I tighten say my floorboards SUPER cranked on first time.  I have had to tighten my cheaper showchrome way upfront hwy. pegs though do come loose from time to time if I put a lot of pressure on them sliding down a tad a few times.

Quit riding the Valk like you stole it, problem solved..

Best of luck on that fluffy stuff over there, spring is a comin right?????? coolsmiley

WE got only 2-3 inches on Monday while some parts heard got over 10 inches or so 3-4 hours away, weird how that can happen?  And yet planning on driving possible a 3rd bike home somewhere in my 2 car garage this coming weekend will still be some snow left on the grass at least?   coolsmiley

the potholes is one of the biggest reasons I got that bmw police bike

its my beater commuter and parking in front of courthouse is a big convenience esp when they check my helmet for free inside the door

nothing has fallen off of that that I could not pick up on the side of the road (right saddlebag on the cross bronx expwy)

I tell ya we have some bad stretches of road before summer paving season starts   But you can expect the roving pothole installation/repair crews to be blocking lanes next week when the new crop appear

Sounds like you need some Harley boots.
