I took Walt's crash victom "Stinger" for a test ride yesterday. It is so surprising that under some conditions the sub-structure of these Valk's can hold up quite well.
There's not a painted part that isn't busted up. But she still runs well and tight. She tracks perfectly under all conditions. There may be a tiny bit of stiction going on in the right fork leg which may be the fork tube or triple-clamps being tweaked a hair. Can't feel it on the road though there's a very very light bit of moisture on the right side lower leg from the seal. Could well be just in need of an alignment.

He's preparing a parts list [damage cost report] in order to decide which alternatives he wants to pursue. Parts list is getting really high.

He's still feeling the issues of being hammered to the pavement, but he's doing much better and spirits are improving. Looks like he may have a winter project and then should be up and ready to ride in the Spring.

The clutch was realy spongy and would not disengage when we got her stood up and running. was it just the broken adjuster on the clutch lever?
