Thank you all for your kind words and beautiful pictures you posted of my Dad.  We just read through them with mom and you all brought much joy to us.  Thank you for sharing your memories with us.

I enjoyed talking with him breaking bread with him sharing wind with him and on occasion tipping a cold one with him. And being as both of us are Nam Vets we had more in common than the stuff I touched on. We had some of "those" talks that were between us. But most of all I WILL Remember that smile of his. Don't know WHEN but I WILL be ridin with Santa Again! R I P BRO.  angel

I have nothing to add to what has already been said, other than it was an honor to meet Santa and shoot the breeze with him.

I think it was on the Kentucky ride I was in back of him when  Santa's
bike left the road on a left turn in some small town
and his Valkyrie ended up in muddy grass on the right side of the road

He was totally unharmed never even fell over

We got him back out of the mud  onto the pavement and continued the ride

One measure of a man is how he reacts to adversity

Never did the smile leave his face, just a bit of concern for holding up the ride.

He was a truly good man RIP Santa
