I remember reading a post one time about a replacement for the pod light. It was a automobile that had the same housing, or it took a minimal finessing to get it to work. But I can't find any mention of it doing a search. Anybody remember ?

I remember people talking about using different bulbs, but nothing about a straight auto parts replacement for the whole unit.... especially the rubber boot.  I could be wrong.

yeah, it wasn't the rubber boot or the mount. If I remember it correctly it was the fog lights from a Mazda, Isuzu, or some other similar vehicle. They were getting them at a junkyard. Mine are fine, but I'd like to switch them over to a LED setup. Knowing which model they share would help in that. Thanks

If I remember right, it was a 03 to 06 Honda Element.
