Today I took Mama's Standard out for a test run.  My Standard has been down for awhile so it's the first time in quite a while that I've been on a Valkyrie without the non-motorcycle specific rear tire.  I noted the bike was more willing to lean.  That doesn't mean I could lean it more than could I mine on the Falken but just that it was done with less effort.

I got in a hurry to get down the road so I rode in a tee without my jacket.  I do like the feel of the leather fringe slapping my elbows.  I like the sound of the Cobras.

It was a good ride.  I was testing the ICM so I ran mostly at 85 to 90 indicated.

It was a good day for a ride.

Your last line would make a great title for this post

Either way, I'm glad you got to be on the open road

Ride on

I envy you, Willow. We have had a few good days for riding here in Southern Ar., but I have been unable to take advantage of them, due to having a knee replacement on the 8th of Feb. Looks like it will br another month, maybe longer, before I can get back in the again. So the next time you get to ride, go an extra mile or two for me.

Deal.  You heal up well, cousin.  I'll be thinking of you.
