As I couldn't find the recommended oil for my car locally, I had to order it on-line. Searched a lot of the major auto parts store sites (including Walmart) and some of the smaller local stores (they were the most expensive) and found Royal Purple full synthetic and a MOPAR OEM filter for a price much less than all the rest. Choices for shipping were to receive it in a week for free, next day was like $35 and second day was like $30. I chose Free. Package came yesterday, 2 days after I ordered it. Good price and free 2nd shipping. Kudos to Autozone (I am not related to Autozone nor do I hold any stock in the company)

I think I did, maybe that's why it was cheaper than the rest. Can't wait to get the car in the air tomorrow. I might even take her out. Lots of debris and gravel and salt all over the roads so it won't be for a long ride.

I ordered a brake caliper for my BMW Z3 online from AutoZone. They said 7-10 days. I had it in two and took the old caliper in for an exchange. Total cost $35.

AMS Oil is great. I used in in my old tundra simce I did my first oil change myself when my 25k mile service agreement ran out. It had 225k on it when I traded it in with no engine noise and not leaking a drop of oil. Had several test tubes sent in so they could study the oil and they told me to run it for 20k between changes. I was not comfortable with that so I stayed at 10k intervals.

Amsoil is good stuff but one of the most expensive. Cycle oil is 11.50 per qt. and only use it on my 3 cycles since only change oil/filter once per year. However, I use conventional regular 3 bucks per qt. (sometimes cheaper if on sale) car oil for 2 of my 3 vehicles since have to change oil every 4 months on those due to more hwy. miles say 5K miles in 4 months each. I do not believe Amsoil and others claiming they can go 20K miles on SAME OIL. I can see 10K miles on Amsoil full synthetic, but anything more than that is just asking for trouble IMO since I think oil filters are not made to last over 10K miles or say more than 1 full year. the old rule back in the 80s and prior was change oil 3 months/3000 miles but I guess with better quality/more refined conventional oil, that has been extended to 6 months/5000 miles tops which with me is 4-5 months and 5000 mile limit.

Autozone can kiss my rusty ol' arse.
I bought some convex mirrors for my FRS...they turned black in a week.....wouldn't replace them or give me my money back.
I always pass them by now in favor of O'Briens, Advance and Napa.

Walmart has 0/40 but you could probably use 10/40 as well. Usually 10/40 is European spec but have seen other in this rating that are not. If it doesn't get that cold in your area 0/40 may not be necessary.

Virtually all retailers are trying to follow the Amazon blue print, even Wally World. You can save by buying on the internet, I don't care which vendor you choose. All offer some kind of free or discounted pricing. It's out there if you look for it. Worst pricing is usually in the store. You're there, the product is there and they have no need to discount. One other thing, regardless of what the product is, always ask if the vendor will "price match". Don't give the cashier a bogus price because they are normally required to call the other vendor and verify the price you say it can be purchased at. But, most will price match their local competition. Edited: I'm not a fan of Auto Zone, they have the worst customer service I've seen locally. I don't know why it's the way it is but, I've stood in front of a register waiting to pay for a product numerous times while two, three or more of the employees stood in the vicinity and BS'd with each other or played with their phones, etc........... I've needed help finding things in their stores and had to chase down a sales associate just to get what ever I was looking for. We have two AZs in our town and both have the same issues. Apparently, they hire people who don't know squat about vehicles, never had anyone who worked there give me any good advice on how to fix what ever. Locally, I visit and buy from AAP. They appear to hire people who are "Car Guys/Gals". YMMV

I needed a new radiator for my old Tundra. Somehow it got a leak and started to over heat. Auto Zone priced me a new one for 385 bucks. Got online at rock auto for 80 bucks plus 20 shipping. Put it in myself in an hour and worked great. Just had to wait a few day to get it. So I was stuck riding the bike.
