It has been awhile since I have posted about our bloodhound puppy. He is now 15 months old and approaching 100 pounds. He is a great dog and his trailing training will pick back up in a couple weeks. Our boys love him even though he is much bigger than they are.

Grin he has chewed up several things over the past year. He had a bad habbit of chewing on the boys bunk beds. So I mixed up a paste of white pepper and water and put on the things he was chewing on. The chewing stopped immediately.

Boy he is a handsome Dog Gavin.  Our newest golden/lab mix Finn is now 18 months old has been a joy.  He goes with me many places.  Loves to ride in back seat and stick his head out the window, only in town.  Window goes up at high speeds.

That's a good looking dog, I have a 3 year old male and this is my second bloodhound, I love those dogs, but they dirty, when they shake there head the juices go flying and both of my bloodhounds would chew up everything,he will stop after awhile, great dogs.

Yep, I peel dried slobber off the walls every day  Grin he drags his ears through everything. We have wet wipes stashed all over the house to clean his ears or the get all crusty and nasty.

I will never forget hitchhiking as a kid, and getting picked up by a guy who said to get in back with the dog.  A huge St Bernard.  He said he was friendly and I am not afraid of dogs so it was all good.  He was really friendly, put his muzzle in my lap the whole trip as I scratched his head.  When I got out, I had doggie snot all over me, it looked like I had peed myself, down to my knees.

All warm feelings are not the same.
