Received an Award today

Never heard of this group, but this came through a Veteran Service officer at a local American Legion post.

Although I didn't serve overseas(volunteered for it but was turned down), my entire 6+ years were spent during that time period. Would make a nice pin but when I compare my type of service to those that were in action in the jungles, my time pales in comparison. Congrats on the pin, nice looking art work indeed.  cooldude

John - don't sell yourself short . Those who support the tip of the spear are important as well - without them the tip of the spear can't do their job .

Thank you for your service!  It's a nice pin, but it's not enough for your sacrifice.

Nice !  I got one of those a couple weeks ago at a area Vietnam Vet meating. The meating was put on by the American Legion, VF W, and the DAV.  I'm not sure who is getting their hands on them as its been a while since I've been to a VFW meeting but I would bet you could pick one up at a Army Navy Store.

Thank You and all of our Viet Nam Veterans for their service.

I'm glad to see that you guys are finally getting some recognition.

It will NEVER be enough, but for far too long our Viet Nam Vets have been shortchanged in the gratitude department.

Always felt and will always feel that the young men that served in that war yes war,
should have gotten more than they did.
They put up with terrible condition in the field and got no love
or what they truly needed when they got home.
My Dad changed out of uniform in the planes bathroom because
of the crap at the airport.
All that I can say is thank you for answering the call !
