Been darkside for over a year now but last week went double darkside. Michelin active pilot on the front.  No issues couldn't tell any difference it rode the same as it did before. Put almost 500 miles on the bike everything from twisty back roads to 80 mile an hour highway runs sometimes lasting an hour or more.

Checked tire out real close when I got home no bubbles or delaminations just even wear all the way around

Started Saturday with breakfast with these crazy women

Headed up the highway with a new rider on his new goldwing. He has been practicing for a week before this road trip

Pulling up at the lake

Getting lunch

Killed a lot of bugs

That front tire is a car tire?
Is it that you are running a rear tire on the front? I did that years ago on my Wing and got much better mileage and no cupping...
Is that what it is called when you run a rear on the front? Double dark side?

No. Yes. Yes. Yes.

The term double dark side means a car tire on the rear and a rear (motorcycle) tire on the front.

I am not sure who originated the phrase, but it seems to Honda specific within the past 7 to 10 years.

I concur. I have a Hankook Optimo on the rear and recently put a Rear Michelin Active Pilot reverse on the front. Rode it the 1,900 miles to the GOTF's and back with no issues whatsoever. Ran the bike up to 105mph and found it to be rock steady. Looking forward to 20,000 + miles of riding on it.
