Ok so I went riding today did about a hundred and twenty miles to bike did great. I pulled into the national cemetery in Sarasota County made a loop around everything was still going fine. All the sudden my bike starts making a terrible squeaking grinding noise from the rear. Did my final drive go out? Wheel bearing?  Looking at taking it to the shop on a trailer any hot ideas.  posted on tec board and had some helpful reply's. I am in Sarasota and need some help with it. Who should I use? Thanks

*****UPDATE...... went to Grumpys  today and it was the skinny bearing that was shot.   Thanks to Grumpy the bike is all serviced and up and running right!

I would at the very least, take the rear wheel off and inspect all the obvious parts of the drive line and bearings. Once u have done that, and u still cant find the problem, then it would be time to get it to someone with knowledge of our Valks.

Not sure about anyone down in Sarasota, but Grumpy is up in the Tampa area?
