Hello folks,

I need a picture of DDT for my history album.
He rode 540.000 plus miles on his 1999 Tourer and I want a nice pic of him for that occasion.
TIA

"He rode 540.000 plus miles on his 1999 Tourer".

Did something happen that I missed? I thought Bruce was still out there racking up the miles.

Yep Bruce is still alive and racking up miles on Ali. You should PM him for the picture.

Damn... 540K miles? There are very few diesel trucks that logged that many miles.

I wonder how many clutches he had to replace? And bearings?

I imagine the engine is still original (i.e. un-opened), but does it lowers some oil? What was his oil change interval?

DDT, Trout Man and couple others have been having a Valkyrie wrenching party for the past two weeks in Tennessee some place. I think they have about rebuilt 4 or 5 bikes from the ground up in the same amount of time it's takn a Honda shop to put a stinking back tire on mine tickedoff..

I don't think he has had any clutch or engine work done. He did have a run of bad luck with pinion flanges and driveshafts. But I think it was fixed with a new swing arm. His was clogged on the weep holes it was found out. He recently posted about his oil changes. I think he does them at about 5k.
