There are some on this forum that generously donated funds to help out Dave with his medical expenses and somehow the news of his passing got by me on the Volusia forum  Embarrassed.

I just read about it tonight and it gave me a sick feeling even though I had not met the man in person. I could just tell he was a good person the way he interacted with me on the forum especially when I was brand new on it as well as brand new to riding. He helped me out with stupid questions I had and was no problem for him to mail me stuff he had for sale for my bike when many others wouldn't cause I live in Canada. It wasn't easy for him to do that as he lived in a very rural area. Also everyone that knew him personally have nothing but good to say about him.

Anyway, I'm sorry for being late to let you guy's know.
