I'd avoid the Karma, it's had some SERIOUS issues (As in dropping out of the sky issues requiring a full recall).

GoPro knows action cams. They don't know drones, at least not yet, never get a first gen product like that IMHO.

Especially for a motorcyclist take a hard look at the DJI Mavic Pro. It's basically the same functionality as the base Phantom 4 but folds up into a tiny package that's easy to take on the motorcycle with you.

If you're heart is set on a Phantom, at this point I'd spend the extra money for the newer iterations, the Phantom 4 Pro or Advanced, not the base model.

Short example of the Mavic Pro and it's Active Track mode, the drone is totally in control of itself, I just told it to follow me while I rode around the parking lot, after riding my Valk to the area with the drone safely tucked away in a corner of my saddle bag:

Little video montage I put together from the last *sadface* HotGlue's Gathering of the Fools, shot with my Mavic:

My advice! If you are just starting out I would stick with DJI, and consider one of the Phantoms. If you subscribe to them they come up with good discounts on the Phantoms, they basically come complete.  Many other drones don't come with the controller/radio and are sold desperately.  Generally the Phantoms come ready to roll out of the box, may have to fully charge the battery. Also I have seen quad that look exactly as the Phantom, don't be fooled, they are FAKE, and it is what is inside that counts. Keep in mind if you get one, these need respect, just like a motorcycle needs, or you will pay!! Not trying to discourage you, they are fun.

On the DJI web site the CEO has several videos, from how to unpack the drone, to have to control, practice and setup the drone, very helpful, this could apply to any drone handling.

Just for giggles check this price direct from DJI:    http://store.dji.com/product/phantom-3-standard?site=brandsite&from=buy_now_bar

Also check these videos out, it will give you an idea what to expect and what to do, this can apply to any of the Phantoms or drones, not just that model.

That is my point! DJI is not the only one out there, but they are one of them I trust, They seem to give you the best bang for the buck!!  For good quality!
