Those are the kind of skates many of us had as kids.....fastened to your shoe and tightened with a key. Check out the cars and the ladies dresses of the day. Wonder how many times he busted his butt working on this scene.  Grin

John you need to change the title it was Gene Kelly and it was great.  cooldude cooldude

I hadn't seen that before thanks, he was so good and Fred Astaire got all the fame but Gene Kelly I believe was every bit as good.


Looking at that, the only thing I could think of is that wouldn't happen today with the condition the streets and side walks are in  Grin

Oh good grief, you're so right. I had been watching some of Fred's stuff and bumped into this one. Apparently Fred stuck in my mind, which is kinda strange....not much sticks there these days.  Wink
