I was riding in speeding big city traffic today for a lengthy time and never even saw it disappear.  So what size tube do we have again?

Thread lock is good stuff cooldude

I was in a group ride when one highway peg fell of a bike further up smacked a pillion 5 bikes back in the head....thankfully with a full face helmet..... but it could have been nasty, so from that day forward I put a drop of thread lock on anything that might need it just in case Smiley

I lost my bike buoy today off the wing, hit a bump it popped out caught with my leg against the side panel, reached for it and last I saw it was in my mirror tumbling Angry Probably should have left it alone last weekend and not taken it out to be cleaned.

I believe it's 1 and a quarter. But you shouldn't need to worry about that. I think you can just buy the peg and a bolt. Shouldn't have to get the whole thing.

One male mount dually peg, and one bolt.  (don't think you can get a single peg*)

No part of the engine guard is 1 1/4".

The guard clamp would be 1 1/8"  (the guard turns to 1" down underneath)

Do you like the fuel warning stickers?

* I had to buy a pair of levers for a single broken one.  I thought, OK with two bikes, it'll be good to have a spare.   So the next one I broke was on the same side.   Then I had two spares.

The pegs are bisexual.

thanks for the reminder, my iso-wing kuryakyn hwy. peg is loose as well I noticed last trip out.  I have to go out and tighten it BEFORE next ride just for this reason since when I came back last weekend, I noticed I could turn it by hand easy.

Looks like you'll have to break down and get yourself a pair of Harley boots.

Thanks for the help folks, I was ready to buy a whole new complete set.  Now I have just the male mount dually peg on order.  You saved me $100.00, thanks.  And it is 1 1/8th inch tube, that I can confirm.

As far as the stickers on the tank, I'll keep them.  I've restored quite a few things over the years (motorized and furniture) and I've changed my thoughts over the years; unless the original look is so bad I leave it and enjoy it, as is.  I love looking at beautiful customized bikes and am amazed at the creativity, but just not for me.  Anything I do can be easily switched back to factory original.  And if I peel those tank stickers off they will never go back on.

As someone for whom part of my job is designing safety warnings (to go on electrical panels), I thank you on behalf of all warning label designers for your respect for our art.  Our work is undeservedly unappreciated, and usually unread.

I'm thinking to promote the art, We should form the Society for the Appreciation and Promotion of Safety Warnings and Cautions (SAPSWAC).
