I noticed it too. It's taking quite a bit longer for it to respond to any "click".
I will say though, for the past few weeks it's been flyin'. Hope it can be restored to that before it crashes completely again.

And here I was thinking it was my puter or internet connection. Whew! Was about to take this puter and throw it in the recycle bin. I held off doing that because I can go to every other internet site I normally visit without any trouble. I have to assume Carl is responsible. Ya gotta blame someone right?

I've discovered something interesting (at least it's interesting to me, a computer illiterate). If I click on the history or frequently visited tab and try to go to VRCC, I'm lucky to get here.
But, if I use my search engine and go to Valkyrie Riders Cruiser's Club, it comes up quickly every time.
Don't know why or how but, it works.
Someone with some computer knowledge maybe able to explain this. I'm lucky to find the power button on my laptop. I assume I've got a corrupted address in my history files or something like that. But, what's confusing is the history link does work some of the time.

Well - I AM an IT professional. My best guess is there is some sort of DNS issue with your ISP / wherever you get that from. I would like to know where you are getting it from. As an example - My PC's DNS server is my Router. The settings on my router use 208.67.222.222 (OpenDNS) and 8.8.8.8 (One of Googles) . IPv6 show something different, but it doesn't matter. The way DNS works - your client makes a request for a site ( www.valkyrieforum.com). Since my computer doesn't have that address stored somewhere, it makes a query to my DNS server - my router. My router "doesn't know" the IP address for that site, so it queries it's upstream servers - and so on and so forth. I selected those servers on my router because I know they are high quality, reliable DNS Servers. Most people let their router get the DNS server settings from their ISP. Ideally, all DNS should provide the same information ... it's just how fast they get it. It is also possible to set your PC to have it's own DNS server settings. This is somewhat Operating System dependent, but just about all of them have some way to set this. There is also a file on Windows machines where you can put in a list of sites and their IP addresses - that file would be checked first, then it would go through the DNS server. But this has the disadvantage of being "static" - meaning it won't change. I hope this wasn't too much....

Yeah, good question. It's only this site I have the issue. Here's another clue, I went back and deleted the history tab (or whatever you call it) and used the search engine link I referenced previously several times (which apparently drives the history thing to start picking it). Now that history link works likes a champ. I'm thinking Carl is responsible. Gotta blame someone.
