So in the summer we put our pet turtle in our back yard pond. He loves it. Has a watering hole all to himself and if he chooses he can enjoy our huge back yard. We have it completely fenced in. Well this season we put him in it as usual and since I haven't seen him in a couple days I searched the pond and low and behold I found him. Passed away for a bit. We've had him for bout ten years. To us he wasn't just a pet he was family. Had his own attitude. My oldest boy found him in another towns pond and brought him home and we kept him since. He would actually take food from my hand and never once tried to bite anybody. He actually would get excited whenever my wife would talk to him. Sad day today.
