Ok so what are your thoughts on LED lighting? If I go to say Walmart and buy this led tailight s and turn signal lights that are basically plug n play, do I still have to do the re wire for running led lights or can I just leave my wiring alone? If so, which kits are the best and the cheapest? Also do I spend the money and convert over to an HID head lamp?

If you change to LEDs then you may have to install this flasher. https://www.customled.com/products/elfr-1-electronic-led-flasher-relayIts been awhile, but, I think I got the stuff from Radiantz [ tail light, pucks and modulator]. The flasher from the link above. I didn't worry about the front, only my tail. And its now bright.

If you mean buy a headlamp bucket with HID lighting installed. Then maybe. If you mean put HID into the Valkyrie bucket. Then no. I have HID and whilst it's bright to look at the focus of the light is not very good. At night it's awful.

So to the original question... what is the easiest way to be seen? Can somebody post direct links to products that will make a seamless job of converting. Thanks

This topic should probably be on the tech board, and there is quite a bit of information already there.
Practically all the lighting on my '98 Tourer is now LEDs, but changing to LEDs is not plug and play. The turn signal flasher has to be replaced. You will also get cross talk between the right and left turn signals which can be fixed with a diode-Y but I just retained the inconsistent bulbs in the rear. Most of my lamps were from SuperBrightLEDs.com...

Signal minder takes care of all that and gives you automatic cancel with Leds. That is how its plug and play even for turns. The rear tail light nothing needed except hook up. Thats what I like about the Signal Minder you have choices like, 4 way flash, parade flash run lights and even keeping the turn signals on with the brakes applied. You can use resistors but the automatic cancel is great.
I do agree for the technical issues of actually how to do hook things up you should go to the tech board but its not hard at all.

Dont know where you are seeing that and Signalminder at the bottom of the page offers complete led setups. The link below is the SM3 unit that I believe is the correct unit for the 1500 Valkyrie. You can call them they are helpful and Im sure would be able to answer any question you have. The only thing I can think of is the 1800 has factory leds and you cannot easily use any other leds on the bike for turn signals and definitely not use another light control module, but that is the 1800 not the 1500. Especially since I have all leds on my 1500 with no adapters with just the signal minder. https://kisantech.com/mag/signalminder/sm-3.html
