http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/kyle-drennen/2017/05/16/guests-remind-nbc-cnn-obama-gave-classified-intel-russia

While NBC and CNN joined the rest of the media in rushing to condemn the Trump White House over an unconfirmed Washington Post report that the President inadvertently shared classified information with Russian officials, guests on both networks provided important context that the Obama administration intentionally shared classified intelligence with Russia less than a year ago.

Right now we have those on one side saying the other side is the devil incarnate and those on that side saying the other side is the devil incarnate.

Each voter is being led by the nose by their press or pundit flavor of the month and whipping themselves into a souffle of perceived offense.

Makes us look like a bunch of prats to the rest of the world.

The pace at which this is happening has been slowly accelerating  for the past 8+ years and may finish in an national apocalyptic  mental seizure.

It may help if the voters would stop knee jerking to every little snippet that the 24/7 "media" (I can't call it news) is shoving down the gullets of those eager to suck up what is being spewed out.

Former Senior Intel Officer: If There’s An ISIS ‘Mole Hunt,’ It’s Because Of The Leakers Running To The Pres

http://dailycaller.com/2017/05/16/former-senior-intel-officer-if-theres-an-isis-mole-hunt-its-because-of-the-leakers-running-to-the-press/?utm_campaign=thedcmainpage&utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Social

In its Tuesday report, the  Times  leaked  information  that  the  president  himself  did  not  reveal to the Russians, raising questions that these anonymous officials are  intentionally  undermining  the  current  administration.

Air Force Col. James Waurishuk (ret.), a former intelligence officer who previously served on the National Security Council, told TheDCNF, “the greater damage is the leaks coming out and the leaks compounded by the stories, such as the Washington Post, for political reasons.”

White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster mirrored the sentiment, saying Tuesday, “I think national security is put at risk by this leak and leaks like this.” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer also explained that the leaks are “frankly dangerous.”

Obama Ordered The U.S. Intelligence Community To Share Intel With Cuba
In the waning days of his administration, President Barack Obama ordered the U.S. intelligence community to share information with communist Cuba.

Just a month before the 2016 election, President Barack Obama signed a policy directive ordering the U.S. intelligence community to share sensitive U.S. intelligence with Cuba’s communist government, despite the fact that one of the top U.S. intelligence official had branded Cuba as one of America’s biggest espionage threats. The presidential policy directive, which was issued as part of the Obama administration’s efforts to normalize U.S. relations with the Castro regime, required the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to “exchange information on mutual threats with Cuban counterparts.”

The Obama administration put some flesh on the bones of the October 2016 directive by signing a January 2017 law enforcement agreement with Cuba officially committing the U.S. to sharing sensitive intelligence with the island nation’s communist regime.

James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, testified to Congress just months before Obama inked his deal with Cuba that the Castro regime represented one of the top global espionage threats against the U.S.

Trump will never be able to win at anything. Opposers are trying to snipe him at every corner. But, Trump needs to shut up and  flush his twitter responses.  The opposers just wait to see what he says about anything and nit pick it apart. He tries to defend everything he does to the the point of being rediculous.

Screw those people and do your job and quit acting like a kid every time someone opposes what you do. NBC makes me wanna puke.  The Today Show is so obvious on their position. Can't stand to watch it at all.

The Commander in Chief has the authority to decide what to share
with whomever he deems it necessary to preserve the union

If Trump wants to share certain intel with Russia or any superpower or   nations intelligence force to avoid hitting them during a raid or to coordinate an operation or for that matter if Obama did the same I am ok with it we will never really know what is classified Top Secret eyes only

Sharing with a terrorist state like Cuba or Iran would be crossing the line IMHO and he better be doing it only on a case by case basis where our lives were at risk, and sure hope the operation was a success

Find Whitehouse leakers.

Have a short military tribunal.

Shoot them at dawn on the Whitehouse lawn.

Send their heads to the Washington Post.

Of course he did, it was mentioned the other day, we [ or most of us] knew it at the time. But, some just refuse to see things how they are.

As to the title of the thread, it's not really possible for a President to "leak" information.

Just for the record, even a President could release (leak or otherwise) information so contrary to national security (and common sense) that he could/should be charged with a crime(s).  The crime would probably be something worse than just compromising classified information, though that would be added to the list.  And this would likely happen in the process of an impeachment (House trial, Senate sentencing).

Like nuclear football go-codes, for instance.

Obviously, he has considerably more discretion than the average American (as any president should).

And sell tickets to the event, may be enough to build the wall.  May take a far larger place than the Whitehouse lawn though.

For the NSA deep state folks reading this before you send it off to the WA. Post or other fake news site the Old York Times, I am only kidding  -  I think.  Yah just kidding.

Britman--you sure can turn a phrase.  "souffle of perceived offense."  Man that's good stuff!
