I saw the video, Robert.  I was amazed that the red carpet was literally rolled out for our president.
Every other flag was the American flag. Our national anthem was played. He got the respect that he deserves as the POTUS.

A foreign country acknowledges the POTUS while a political party or maybe two of them , here, do not.

The Press dug out the gem that Trump complained because the previous First Lady didn't cover her hair but that the present first lady didn't either.  Anything to get in the digs. As far as I'm concerned, ALL of the press can do it to themselves as well as the equine that they use as transportation. I hope that's clean enuff.

Its not surprising that the mainstream media and their followers are chastising our current President for being there and his conduct. Short memories.  I seem to remember the 2 events as being quite different, maybe its just me, but, I like this one 'more better'.  I'm interested to see how it turns out.

While it is nice to see our guy not bow to the non bacon eating POS, I hate that he is giving all that military hardware to them. They aren't our friends. IMO, Trump has done one thing right, the SCOTUS nomination and confirmation by the Senate. I'd like to thank Harry Reid for opening that door.

If he screws up on his remainder of his term,  I will remember the most important thing that he did.

I agree with most of what you say which is really what burned me all the more about bowing to them. They are not friends and would sink us if they could but unfortunately for them they are tied to us through petro dollars and a bit more like the military.
