Another Rider gets taken out.

Have a very good friend 56 yrs old who has ridden for most of his life. Rode dirt, street,  competition, you name it. He was a great rider. Riding through town at 30 mph yesterday, an 81 yr old man came out of a side street and took him out. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet and died instantly from blunt trauma to the head. Hard to believe he's gone. Fun guy to be around and ride with. He will be greatly missed.

Sorry for your loss. Let this be a reminder to those that don't wear helmets. I never use to but noticed the motorcycle fatalities in my area so my wife made me promise to always wear mine. It still may not save a life but it's a better gamble than not having it. Prayers are with you and yours and his family.
