 Undecided Undecided Undecided

information from all you Interstate Owners,

I am in need of some information on shocks for my trike.  It has, I think, the original rear shocks that the installer left on the bike when he converted it a few years ago. I believe that they need replaced and I do not have any idea what I will need or require as far as what will be best.  I have looked at   several sites and the Progressive ones are prevalent.  They seem to be either stock or air filled using an air compressor.  I am asking you Valk riders what you have used or are using so that I can get your opinions.  You all have helped me before and I greatly appreciate your help.  At least I did not ask an oil or tire question.   THANKS BUNCHES  !!!!!

1999 Valkyrie Interstates came with regular steel spring, oil dampened 5 way preload adjustable shocks.

need to know what for trike kit is on there.
most trike companies use their own shocks.
mine has progressive 412's and air bags.

Don't have mine triked, but using the Progressive 412's at preload setting 3 with no problems.

Thanks to all who answered my question.  I got a chance to look at her today and the line going to the shocks were loose.  Retightened and all is good again.  Thanks again  !!!!!
