After a leisurely ride we arrived home about 5 pm.  We hit about 14 drops of rain, but they were the really big drops that sting a lot.  Other than that, it was a pleasant uneventful trip.

Laura and I would like to thank Preston for his hard work in planning an excellent weekend.  We had a great time and are read for Hillbilly Highways IV!  We also want to thank the Ambassador of Pikeville, KY, Gabby.   Thanks to everybody who helped to make this such a wonderful get-together.

Bambi would also like to thank Hal for introducing her to chocolate milk although she's disappointed it will not be part of her daily meal plan!

As always, good to see old friends and meet new ones.

Ride safe,

Mitch & Laura

Mitch

It was great to see you, Laura, and Bambi again. You really helped a handful of folks out this weekend with mechanical issues.  cooldude

Always great riding with you, looking forward to the next time.

I would like to add my thanks to Reb & Gabby for the local color.

Most importantly, I would like to thank you Mitch, and Larry for getting me going again.  I rolled into home at 4:30, which is one hell of a lot better than being hauled back to Ohio on a trailer or leaving her down in Prestonsburg and having to go back down in a couple of weeks to ride home again.  The fix worked perfectly.  I hated spoiling your ride, but I really appreciate the help.

Have to go back next year to go through the tunnel.

Roger,

In no way was our ride spoiled, just altered a bit, with good company and we all got to meet some of the locals, especially the chatty little ones, lol.

Ride safe,

Mitch, Laura and Bambi
