I've checking out some other Honda front rotors. These used parts sellers are asking more for used rotors than new ones with pads. What are they thinking? I guess they don't want to sell them. A few have been listed for months with no change in price.

I've noticed this with a few other parts also. Anybody else notice the same?

I think it was last winter, one of those bike breaker companies was trying to sell a used OEM air filter for $25.00. uglystupid2 uglystupid2

I emailed them with the link to a new one, but never got a response.  Go figure. Smiley

I don't go to eBay as much anymore, but lately I've clicked on some final drives.
They seem to be much more now. I got a good one from Pinwall for $300 or
$350 ten years ago, he's got one on there now for over $600 with no pictures
of the splines.

I've seen the final drive prices jump lately also. Looks like the I/S shocks have jumped in price. Pinwall has a 110k mile set for $120.  uglystupid2

I've picked up a few GL1500 final drives for the spline parts lately. was able to get off craigslist, 12k mile unit with the u-joint for $100.

Have noticed this for years. Buyer beware!

You really need to research your prices before bidding.

Can I blame them? I just wonder where they get their prices from in the first place. MSRP??

yep msrp. they take a % based on condition. I was recently looking at  some rotors from a VFR800. they are used and still they are asking more for them than brand new aftermarket ones. they are listed for months and never sell. I contact them and offer them less and question their price. usually no response, sometimes a relly stupid response about paying every one. well if u aren't selling anything....

I bought a NOS Interstate seat for 149.00 with free shipping last year, not sure if they are still available but 100x more comfortable than one that has been stunk up for 60,000 miles, and for about the same price.

Thank you for your offer. We strive to have the lowest prices on eBay. Because of this, our prices are generally firm. That being said, if you do find an identical part currently listed for less on eBay, please let us know the listing number and we will gladly beat it. Thanks.

I can give u $100 includes shipping for the left and right rotor. they are used and u are asking more than what two new aftermarket rotors cost. (listed for $88 ea.)
thanks

problem is the other re-sellers are asking the same or more for used rotors, some are in the $100-200 range. most have been listed for over 3 months, nobody is buying them.
