I get sale info all the time from M/C Super Store-Rocky Mountain tire and M/C. And others. As I am Not currently needing M/C tires couldn't tell ya who has what on sale. RIDE SAFE.

Always punch in the exact tire (make, model) and size on Amazon (generally free shipping).  Write down the price.

Then do all the shopping you want to try to beat Amazon's price (add shipping)  And you often need to add the tire to cart and partially checkout to find out how much shipping costs.  Just don't fully check out until you are satisfied with the total price).  I have beat Amazon's prices a few times, but that is the exception, not the rule (and never for tires).

A note on Amazon; sometimes you are buying from Amazon, and sometimes you are buying from some other seller who is listing this product on Amazon (looking carefully at their web page, you can see this).  And, generally speaking, if you called that seller direct, and asked about that same product, you will not get the lower Amazon price (and maybe no free shipping either).

I always take the free shipping on Amazon, and it is called basic ground, but almost everything arrives in 2-3 days anyway (this may be because I am near their warehouses, I dunno).

Places to check:     Jake Wilson, Bike Bandit, Pro Caliber, Motorcycle Superstore, Dennis Kirk, SouthWest Mototire (may have been sold), Revzilla, Chaparral-racing.

I have an Avon on the rear.

Jake Wilson had them on sale a little while back for $140.

Which is only a little more than I've been paying for Shinko Journey's.

The Avon is a better tire and worth paying a little more for but not the usual $60-$80 more.

I'm currently running a SHINKO 230 150/80-17 M/C 72H,  Tourmaster on the front.

I really like the tire and for about $80 you can't beat it.

When I bought my Valk - it had Metzeler's. It hasn't had anything else since I bought it.

Secret to longevity - 40 PSI front and rear.
