Motorcycle Diode Kit

Hey folks, I put LEDs all around as flashers, now I don't have turn signals, hit it for either direction and all 4 flash. Folks on here said I needed to put a diode in the headlight in the circuit that the flasher indicator is on. I got the Diode kit but it came with no wiring instructions.
It has 2 red wires going into the diode and a single black wire coming out, plus it came with a loose black wire too. Where do they go?????
