That being said... it made me remember tales about how the Communist party treated its people.

"Tell a joke, got sent to Siberia...". I heard that story back in the 80's about how bad was the commie Russia.

And how in the land of the free and home of the brave even bad taste jokes were ok.  Because there was freedom of speech.

I guess America indeed has changed.

Really?  What action did the government take against her?  She had a first amendment right to say what she said and she has the right to suffer the public backlash for saying something over the line of decency.

For this and other reasons, I think a multi-party system works better.  In Canada, for example, if the current (small "c") conservative party has gotten arrogant, entitled, and inbred, ignoring the grass roots of the party, we simply start a new conservative party.  Once the old party has been thoroughly humbled by subsequent elections, the two conservative parties merge back into one.

Gavin posted he would sit back and watch the Dems crumble. Baldo responded that he refuted that prediction. MP responded that he didn't believe Baldo's prediction. Which to I asked MP why he agrees with Gavin's prediction. Maybe I'm missing something, it seemed pretty simple to me.

When there are two well established, deeply entrenched gangs who control the racket in an area, it's nearly impossible for any new up and coming gangs to get any real level of success there.

It would require one or both of the existing gangs to be destroyed or at least massively weakened before any new gangs could hope to move in on the action.

Lisa Bloom, the daughter of famed feminist litigator Gloria Allred and Griffin’s newly hired lawyer, made the shocking announcement on Twitter.
