She is hardly alone.
Like to see her and Samantha B shipped over to ISIS for a short comedy tour.

She had a "photo session", and in one or more of the pics she held up a decapitated and bloody head of President Trump. On one end of the spectrum, it was just in bad taste....and the other end, it was sending a message. On the news this morning, it was saying the she is most definitely going to get a visit from the Secret Service (good for them ). Woopie was saying this morning that it's all good...that she's just a person that made a mistake. No big deal...nothing to see here....not a right vs left thing at all. Huge BS Woopie.

Ted Nugent says he wants Obama dead & GOP invites him to the White House. Kathy Griffin crosses the line and liberals get her to apologize.
I'm not sure why anybody would care what a celebrity thinks or does to begin with. But there is a note of hypocrisy here. ???

If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year. - TedYou might know of something else Ted said, otherwise, you mis-quoted him. What Kathy Griffin did was revolting, just like everything they do now on Saturday Night Live, it is what passes for "comedy" now. Ted says stuff like: "We need to ride onto that battlefield and chop their heads off in November." when talking about defeating Democrats at the polls. But he's not running around with bloody severed heads because it's "funny", he just blathers on dramatically because that's why people tune in to hear him. The Secret Service visited Ted, and I guess they'll visit Kathy Griffin. I know which one of them I can stand to listen to for more than 10 seconds (as long as he's not "shreading" on his guitar )... -Mike "OK, some stuff they do on Saturday Night Live is merely boring and unimaginative."

I'd like to see the quote from Nugent where he specifically calls for Obama's death. I looked. Can't find it. I can find where others have "interpreted" statements to suggest that. I find no hypocrisy here at all. Nothing needed "interpretation". Nothing was taken out of context. She posed with a mock, bloodied, severed head of the President of the United States ala ISIS. What Griffin did is beyond the pale. Her attempt to apologize isn't based on true remorse but an attempt to salvage her career, whatever was left of it to begin with. To attempt to rationalize this in any way is beyond the pale as well. It must be condemned in the strongest way possible. I hope she never finds work again. I hope the next year finds her homeless begging for food. I will go there and eat in front of her and have her watch my dog lick my plate.

I just bought an egg sandwich from the deli across the street
Its owned by a Yemeni family who also own the cell phone store where my S3 was fixed last week.
They all agreed that if she pulled that stunt in Yemen or for that matter any arab country she would be disappered then dead, after having been shared by all the jailers Cant say that they are wrong as I never got the opportunity to visit Yemen. To say they are pro Trump is no understatement
Always been the case that Free speech has limits, this turd needs to be a pariah in jail for threatening the President and/or inciting violence against the President.

She showed a head cut off blood dripping down and the head looked like Trump. What she did not do is just say it, the graphic nature of what she did is beyond repulsive.
I think it was worse since he is the president also, we have seen many people killed but when Kennedy was killed it did something to the nation as a whole.
She did apologize but that does not cut it. When ever I see her now I will think of this. I don't ever want to see her again. She is a sick person.
I have to question the judgement of some here that cannot understand a difference of actions and words.

She only apologized after one of her ad sponsors pulled their ads and support for her. Now CNN pulled their support also. In no way can this behavior be defended. Not by anyone.

I never could stand to look at or listen to this woman.
She should have all her sponsors disappear like CNN just did.
Since she apologized and appears now to be sincere about it, I'm wondering how many will forgive her.

Uhm, maybe I care because at some point, Baron Trump is going to see this! Do you want to reconsider why it's "No big deal"? It's pathetic. I'm all for dropping her AND her severed Trump head off right in the middle of Syria. No harm no foul, right?

https://thinkprogress.org/trump-hosts-ted-nugent-white-house-c0da4b94c51Uncle Ted saying he would be either in jail or dead if Obama was reelected COULD be taken a couple different ways. I think I know what he meant. Uncle Ted saying Obama is a subhuman mongrel and he should suck on his machine gun is pretty clear to me. Uncle Ted saying he should be tried for treason and hung is pretty clear to me. The point I'm trying to make is Kathy Griffin was wrong and most condemned her. Uncle Ted was wrong and he was hailed as a hero to many.

Liberals threw a fit at what they thought Nugent implied. I can handle that. Many times things can be said and interpreted in ways intended or not intended. I won't speak for Nugent. This red headed scum went so far past the line, it's beyond stupid and sick. I didn't like Obama and I'm not a real fan of Trump but, you gotta wonder who is actually happy about that picture.

Uncle Ted saying he should be tried for treason and hung is pretty clear to me. Me too. I looked it up on the wiki. If you are tried for treason and found guilty in the United States, capital punishment is one of the penalties. The Ted Nugent draft dodging story is pretty off-putting, though the story he told about it then might be just so much more mouthing off... http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/nugent.aspWhat gets me about this is why are we even talking about Ted Nugent? What does he have to do with what's-her-name running around with Donald Trump's severed head? -Mike

I don't like what she did, not one little bit. For two reasons mostly..
First, because it's obviously way over the line. I despise the air that trump breathes, but her display doesn't help matters at all.
Second, she just provided those on the right with a never-ending image to be brought up ad nauseam whenever they try to peddle their violent, intolerant liberal message...And THAT pisses me off.

But I will also admit there are Some folks that could fall off the earth NOW and if I wuz so informed they had fallen off never to be seen or heard from again-why some of em showin up missin might elicit a chuckle or three from me. I WILL keep the names of those that might fall off to myself. Wouldn't wanna hurt anyone's tender p c doctrines. RIDE SAFE.

Her apology is worthless since she did not say it to Donald Trump directly. We as the American public are witnesses to an atrocity the president is the one it was directed to, she should ask Trump directly to forgive her and apologize to him. Otherwise its publicity. I would think with the secret service visiting you and the canceling of jobs it may make you think finally that it was not such a good idea. That is not being sorry, that is being cunning and devious.

When I was young, we were brought up to except who was elected to office whether we voted for them or not. Their in, it was our obligation to respect and support them. Also I was brought up to understand that it was a felony to make threats to the President whether they were serious or joking, it didn't matter. For someone to have a fake severed head of the President and think it is some form of humor there is something wrong with them, or trying to see what they can get away with. To my knowledge there is no one on this planet would think that is funny. people are getting Sad-er and Sad-er every day!!!!

Ted Nugent says he wants Obama dead & GOP invites him to the White House. Kathy Griffin crosses the line and liberals get her to apologize.
I'm not sure why anybody would care what a celebrity thinks or does to begin with. But there is a note of hypocrisy here. ???
Yup

I can not stand Donnie. Many of you may remember that. Kathy went too far, agreed. BUT I have to wonder where was the outrage, the anger when Obama was first elected? Any half hearted search will pull up many hateful memes , many suggesting murder and/or lynching. That and pictures of protests calling for the same. Please, I'm talking when he was first elected. He had no track record to judge by at that time - just as many on this board suggested we should give Donnie a chance. Somewhere I have a picture of (and some of you may remember) some Donnie supporter with a poster consisting of a set of cross hairs on Hillery.
I still fail to understand people sometimes.

There is an appreciable difference here. Sure, it is easy to bring up on a search examples of people suggesting violence against Obama. It should be fairly easy to find the outrage against it as well. I don't believe I have ever seen anyone on this board advocate the death of a President over politics. I know I have always been in staunch opposition to violence for political gain. Regardless of political party. The difference in this cycle is where this is coming from. This isn't coming from some misguided frustrated citizens, this is coming from an institution. That being the entertainment industry in collusion, or more accurately, in a conspiracy with the mainstream media. The entertainment industry comes up with this stuff and the media gives them the platform and serves it right up. Ask yourself, how many from the entertainment industry sincerely pushed back on this and how many in the entertainment industry have been complicit in these attacks? This is way different from individual acts of violence and threats of death which are always condemned. This is being championed. Everyday.

Actually when he was first elected Obama did have a track record, he was already a politician. As a politician he voted present 95% of the time instead of voting for or against anything. As a politician his district was and still is the murder capitol of the world. The streets of Chicago are more violent than the streets of Baghdad at the height of the gulf war. Obama launched his presidential campaign with the help of his friend Bill, the terrorist, Ayers. Trump has no political track record, he was just a businessman.

What she did is distasteful and offensive in many levels and she is already paying for it.
That being said... it made me remember tales about how the Communist party treated its people.
"Tell a joke, got sent to Siberia...". I heard that story back in the 80's about how bad was the commie Russia.
And how in the land of the free and home of the brave even bad taste jokes were ok. Because there was freedom of speech.
I guess America indeed has changed.

I think she did the right thing, for no more reason than your #2. Now I'll sit back and watch the democrat party crumble. Good luck with that, Sunshine. Your avatar says it all. And we all know the Russians are behind it You've got to try harder than that, don't you think?
