They're not chrome, but I'm embarassed by just how many zip-ties there are under the seat of my Valk...

One of these years I'm gonna sit down and spend a lot of time ripping out all the cumulative hacks, splices, etc I've done to that poor bike in the last 17 years and wire it all up properly...

Some day...

I guess that's one advantage to having a non-riding season winter... Wink

Why stop there?  Chrome door edge moulding to emphasize the lower gas tank seam and the edges of the fenders adds a touch of class.  I just wish we could find a source for chrome handgrip fringe, like this purse:

I bought some 3 years ago and used a few of them, then when I wanted one they had majicly disappeared like so many other things that I have put somewhere so I didn't lose them. crazy2 I order more but by the time I got them I had used black ones and never changed them. I believe they come from china so it takes a couple of weeks to get them, you don't want to put them on to tight because to remove them you need room to cut them off with snips. There really nice for hanging your gremlin bell and other jewelry Grin

Oh how I wish you hadn't reminded me of that. My Valk is in bad need of a clean up as well but since I'm retired I don't have much time to spend on such trivial stuff.  Roll Eyes

$1.95 per each zip tie. I think I'll pass on this deal.

Like this lovely lady, Diva Amy Skaling, who happened by Inzane XV ground zero.  Emily and I also bumped into her afterwards, while gassing up in Lovell, WY, after coming through Bighorn National Forest.  (Not my photo.)
