IF the FACTS are as laid out in the report he Should be good. Couple years ago in Oklahoma that lady shot and killed one or two that had broken into her home and she was good. NOT defending the d a but he has to make some statement. Specially I this day and age. Yeah-I KNOW-the p c stuff go too cursed far at times. RIDE SAFE.

Do you mean this?: "The district attorney’s office will decide whether the killing was justified and if Freeman will face charges."
If so, how is that disgusting?  Or are you jumping to a conclusion about the DA's findings?

I think he means the comment was disgusting because there should be no doubt it was justified.  I guess if the mother tells them he killed her husband and he was doing nothing wrong then they would have to investigate further.

No DA is going to come out publicly and say that some shooting was fully justified (or conversely, that it looks bad for the shooter), before all the facts are in and investigation completed.  No matter how justified it looks on it's face.  And in some jurisdictions, all cases like this have to go before a grand jury before a DA makes a decision anyway.

Shooting people in the front is always better than the back.  But if a guy's back is to you while he is drowning babies, and he is threatening everyone who gets close with a knife, shooting him in the back is probably OK, since the drowning action threatens immediate death or great bodily harm, as does the knife.

Yelling hey asshole, and then nailing him in the forehead when he turns around to look at you is a way to get a front side shot.  But clearly the back is a larger target than the forehead..... but one must remember there are babies in the line of fire, and a through and through is always possible.

Based on past history of assault by strangulation and arson, and drowning babies, we definitely have a defective unit here.

after a 12-year-old girl ran from the home and alerted a neighbor for help.

Bratcher said the neighbor, identified as Cash Freeman, told police he went to the home armed with a handgun and shot Foster twice after seeing him holding the infants under water in a bathtub while threatening the children’s mother with a knife.

Foster had been charged in 2011 with domestic abuse by strangulation and arson, KFOR-TV reported.

looks like the 12 year old alerted the right neighbor.  Guy should have still been in jail for the previous crimes.
