Next Monday I'm scheduled for bladder surgery. This will be the third time over 18 years.  The doctor found a small tumor again. I've gone through about 20 cystoscopies over the years and I'm still not used to them, no anesthesia of any kind. In the previous surgeries the cancer was easily removed with no after treatment or effects. The surgeon uses an endoscope with a general anesthesia so that part isn't too bad.  .I'm thinking that it will be the same.

It still works on my mind.

Sorry to hear it Wayne.  Sounds pretty routine (hopefully), and easy for me to say not having to go through it.

Worry about the things you can control, not those you can't.  Again easy to say, not always easy to do.

My dentist is talking about pulling one or two teeth (that are not bothering me) and replacing with very expensive implants.  I'm getting a second opinion that will cost me $3-400 (a 2d opinion, I can control).  I'm worrying about this too.  I need my dang teeth.  Oatmeal is OK for breakfast, once in a while, but I prefer REAL food.

Good luck Wayne...I just had a cystoscope a few months ago.  No freakin picnic that's for sure. Like trying to cram a golf ball down a garden hose. It will be fine as always.
