Hello all

Don't worry this is not an oil thread.  Well kinda.

I am switching from Rotella 15w40 to T6.

1998 Tourer with 5000 miles.  Yes 5000.

Is it okay to just switch or do I need to do a synthetic blench first as a transition?

Thanks, Matt

So, you've changed the factory oil to Rotella T5 and the next change to T6.  Being it is only the 3rd oil change, you should be ok.

I am going to just do it.  Thanks.

I have only had the bike for one year.  Garage queen before that.  Change the oil to 15w40 when i got her.  Now ready for t6.

Ironic that you said school is out being I am a teacher.  Norcal awaits.  Killer roads.  Come visit and enjoy.  I would love to show you around.

I remembered you talking about being a teacher before.  cooldude Sounds good. Actually, we are going up to Mammoth Lakes Thursday. But we changed from a bike trip to a motorhome trip, as my daughter and her family are coming along. We should set up a ride up your way. There are a few members near you.   cooldude I'm sure some of the SoCal guys would be up for it.  cooldude
