Wiring detail/

hey all, I'm not an electrician by any stretch of the imagination, so I have a simple request.  I have not been able to find a simple drawing of how to re-wire a tail light from a I/S, to a trunk-less I/S.  I've read the descriptions of how to do it, but I really need a drawing to help explain it. You know, wiring projects for dummies type of drawings.  I've looked but cannot locate any drawings of the procedure.

I know it must be a simple procedure, I sure would like to see it drawn out with the explanation of how it is done.   Help me out here and maybe I'll teach you how to do a CT scan or an MR scan, or if you are real handy, I'll teach you how to do some vascular ultrasound procedures.

To me, the easy way would be to buy the A and B wire section from the rear of a std/Tourer Valk.

Replace them in your IS. That is, as long as you add on the rear brake light from a std/Tourer.

The IS trunk mounts into a 3 pin plug to get the turn signal/brake lights to work.

Thanks, where is the best place to get that a/b wire section and connector? I have the std. tail light already.

What ever price you find, go to your local Honda parts store, and have them match it if they can. I end up getting about 3/4 of my parts that way instead, keep the money closer to home, and faster than buying across the border.

Green with red or green with yellow tracer is the wiring for the brake light and green is the ground that is all you need for wire up the brake light. I usually tie in under the right side cover.
