Smokin', Boogie Tonight Justa Keep on Smokin'

Just "fired" up the lazy man's smoker (electronic temp and smoke control) for the first time.
Of course this was NOT uneventful. Directly out of the box it did not work. Called the help line and was instructed to open the electronic unit and check for disconnections during shipping. Was told "it happens all the time". Sure enough just had to snap a connector in place and she started right up.
Bradley 6 shelf digital that uses flavored biscquettes. Starting with chicken thighs with a store bought rub by Weber and maple flavored wood. Supposed to let is smoke at 220 degrees for 2 hours. I'll let you know how they turn out.

When I lived in East Texas-Garrison-the tie yard was not that far from my casa on the South end of town. All the different woods I had available to me made for some very Interesting flavors on my BBQ grilled meats!
Hope it works out well fer ya Gary!
RIDE SAFE.

Out here in AZ we have a shrub called creosote bush. DON'T use that for smokin' meats.
