Had to make an emergency trip to my hometown, St. Roberts Mo. my dad had to get two stints in his heart. All is fine now. In a month he has to go back for another one on the other side. Anyhow, on the way back to my aunts place at the light I saw a green and silver interstate waiting to turn into old Route 66. My face lit up and I got excited. So all in all it was a great weekend. So I want to thank the guy on the bike for making me smile during my tough time. Hope he is a memeber on here. Very great looking bike. Can't wait to get back to SD to get mine.

Old2Soon doesn't live too far from there. He just might have been out riding.. We'll see if he was your sighting.

Dads home. Hardest part for him is going to be taking it easy. He already was in the shop trying to work. My brother and I told him to go sit down, we got it. So we replaced a alternator on a sebring and a brake line on a lesabre. Hope he listening to my brother. That would be cool if it was old2soon. Sure was a great bike.

I too saw that Interstate at St Roberts Wal-Mart last weekend, There was a guy had one in Dixon a couple of years ago I suspect it was it. I live in Waynesville and am the proud owner of a 97 and an 03 Standards but I won't be riding them for a few weeks due to Quad Bypass surgery on the 5th of June. There is also another standard and a Valkyrie trike in this area as well. Hope your Dad is doing well and had a good Doc.

Dad is doing well. He said he finally fell asleep and slept for 24hrs. He was having troubles sleeping before the surgery. I believe his doctor was Dr. Ming or something. He was really good. Thanks for all the concerns.

Had two stents in 2004, still holding up. I think they were made by Honda  Wink

My doc said that the only reason I didn't have an actual heart attack, with a
95 and 99% blockage, was that I worked out regularly. That has kept me
going to the health club.

The relief I felt after they put them in was amazing, only spent one night in the hospital.

I'm sure your Dad will do great!

Now, if they would only come up with a quick fix to the big "C".  ???

My personal opinion, for what that's worth,  don't hold your breath. Too much money is getting made. A sad situation.

Your dads a lucky dude. One of my quad bypasses that I had done 12 years ago was found to be plugged last year and they say if they open me up its a very good chance they'll kill me.  My deal is still better than those that have cancer an find they have a week to live.
So what the hells with the docs making your dad wait to do the other stint instead of doing it at the same time ?????

The Doc said if he would've done all of them it would've been to hard on him. So they wante t give him a little time to heal. I guess my dad has a lot of calcuim buildup in his body. The Doc said he had to pretty much jamb the stints in place to break thru the calcium.
