Grew up in Rhody.  Our family was a bit partial to George's in Galilee if we had some extra money.
Mostly, we went to Rocky Point for chowder and clam cakes once a summer because that's what the budget allowed back in the 1950's.

My sister sent us out a whole kit for making clam cakes this past December that you can buy at Iggy's.
