Mark, Twila, Chris, and Jeannie are on their way to Inzane.

Mark rented a white Dodge crew cab diesel truck (sorta like Daniel's "Big Iron") to pull a trailer borrowed from a friend. The two Valks were tied down and will be side by side going to Montana.

I sure do miss Inzanes but, in this case, I don't miss the long drive across the flat Midwest to get to Ground Zero this year.  I don't have the patience or stamina anymore to go the distance, even on four wheels

Please meet up with them and every one of you have a great and safe time.

I really want to make another InZane...I hope I have the vacay to do it...location will determine the bike...close and it will be the bobber Valk. Not so close...it will be the Super Duke GT

Hope this year's goes without a hitch, except for the suspect in the murder to be apprehended prior to the event

no flat on 20 in Nebraska but yeah  Ohio, Indiana and Illinois suck pretty bad IMHO

Break north around the Black Hills of SD and you are in nice country

A bit hot and boring to the Big Horn Mountains but they make you forget the boring part quickly

Would not care to be on 90 again, just no fun at all but in a truck making time.... you do what you have to do I guess

I probably made a too broad statement.

During my hunting days, I made a number of trips to The Black Hills of SD and Sheridan Wyoming.  It didn't seem interesting to me until I crossed the Missouri River at Chamberlin SD on 90 after jogging up from 80 in Iowa. From then on west, much better.

What was really interesting was bowhunting in the Black Hills on foot, places where the tourists never made it.  Much better physical shape then.

Crossing the Mo at Chamberlin on 90 is very pretty. Done it twice by bike and once by car. I 90 just sucks and will prob nvr travel on it again.

Neither would I. Im only on it from little bighorn to Billings and it sucks. Speed limit is 80 and no way do I go it. Its always hot (105) and windy when Im on it. Scary sometimes.
