Hi Guys/Gals, who ride Valkyrie that need me to work on your Valkyrie. Let me know where. Town/ State ? What do you need your valk repair ? I want you all be aware that I can stop by your place to work on and may need to stay overnight but I will sleep in my trailer I got real nice bed. I only need to use electric, restroom and shower. Also my Dog Aussie will be with me. She like to bark just to get my attention also she protect in trailer. She's friendly with other dogs and cats but she liked to chase and play with cats and rabbits. If you have to go to work don't worry about me and you can go to work and I'll work on your Valkyrie. No schedule it all depend on how much to work on Valkyrie and how far the trip will be. Normally I can tell you with a day or two sometime can guess a week but prefer to let you know next day or two. Let me know and I'll start fill in on list and see where I am going to. Anyone can ask or anyone who will host your place for several Valkyrie to come over and drop off or wait while I work on bike but that's depend on what it need to be done. Massive work will be worth my trip over than small job unless there's more Valkyries at your place. I will start my trip to east coast from Billings MT. I'll start on road this Monday to go over to whoever. Please use your comment under this post than new post so I can keep track of you all. Thank you and see ya soon... Bill, I'll watch your travels so if you get anywhere near central Florida(Orlando), I'll have you do a valve check/adjust for me. I'm finding I don't bend in the middle as easy these days....or get up/down off the floor when working on the bike(s).  John |

If you are going to cut through SC on your way between Fla and Va, I can throw a little work your way. I put short truck stacks on my bike and got some big lollipops in them, I get alot of Deceleration pop, don't know if I need some re-jetting or something with the carbs. Plus I'm sure the carbs ain't been cleaned or looked at since it left the factory. She doesn't run bad, but probably could run better. I'm chasing a lighting Gremlin now too, Nothing major, not working too hard on it either. If It ain't fixed and you are out this way you probably know your way around a Valkyrie more than I do.

Hello, Bill! Missed Inzane, all the laughs and good times, and seeing you/wife/Aussie again this year. Regrettable on all three, but we let life take us on a different route this year. It's all good... Will be keeping an eye on your Traveling Wrench Party 2017 because I'd like you to take care of that U-joint replacement that we couldn't complete during your 2016 tour. I'm really sensing no problems but you said it was becoming an issue, and I have a new one that was purchased during that weird shortage last year. As a reminder we live in Central NC north of Charlotte. We do have a week-plus bike trip coming up in mid August, and I'll need to make sure my niece and nephew (remember her Grip of Steel  ) would be able to accommodate you again at their farm whenever you would be arriving. But, I'm interested... Biker Girl and I would love to reconnect again - so we'll be watching your progression east! Travel Safely! |

Hi Bill... I'm in South Carolina. I've been riding my Valkyrie for 75,000 miles and ten years... no one's ever looked at my carbs, set my valves or replaced my timing belts. I've got all the timing belt stuff, new tensioners, gaskets. I got a digi-sync when I heard they'd be unavailable soon, though I know you have your own method. I'd rather keep on adjusting my mirrors and tire pressure and let someone with skill adjust the inside of my engine I live on 20 acres of an old farm, a short way down a dirt road... we only have a bathtub, no shower, no concrete or pavement to work on. You'd be welcome here, or I could bring my bike to some nearby place if you set up anywhere near by... My dog's a maniac, and my cats are my pals...   -Mike |

What town in SC? On the coast, Murrells Inlet, about 20 miles South of Myrtle Beach. You can plug in your camper, I got a fenced in yard and a big porch where the dogs can hang and play, you can overnight it in your camper or I got a couch you can crash on, showers, dinner, no problem. Just let me know if you are heading this way. I work weekends and I'm off Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs. |
