Photo Hosting Software?????

I've been using Photobucket to post PICS on here for years.

It now seems that they have decided that unless I pay them $60/yr I can't do that any longer.

I liked using Photobucket because it was free and easy.

I DON'T LIKE BEING BLACKMAILED!

A quick Google search found a few options.

Ironically Google's photo hosting didn't work for me.











I did find one called IMGBOX that seems to work:




I'm wondering if anyone knows of a free service to host pics and will allow me to post them here?

I've got to get a new photo sharing site too.  I'm planning on using imgur.  It's used a lot on Reddit.  I found some youtube videos showing how to use imgur with message board forums, like this one.  I haven't acutally used it yet but that's my plan.

For quick, simple photo hosting that allows you to post the images inline on a message board I use this site if it's not a photo I'm already hosting on my own servers:

I think you can set up a login there but I never have, I just use it for quick and dirty image hosting.

Put the one listed under "Direct Link" in the image tags on the forum.

Yeah, the Direct Link would still need to be encased in the IMG tags, if there's a Hotlink for Forums that'd work better (Other than for your Avatar, for that you'd probably need to use the direct link, but there are size and resolution restrictions on the Avatar I believe. I'd try to research it further but I'm tired, in a cheap hotel somewhere in Kansas with crappy WiFi and finishing off the last of my blended bourbon I brought to Inzane and couldn't give away... )

Me 3. Also just looked through ebay, and see a few of those pics there too.

It was either my pc or their site, but it would take me up to 10 min to get a link from a pic to post on site. It's really not like I'm giving up too much moving one.

I'm also hooked on Postimage now, just three clicks after you upload your pics to that site. Then simply paste it here, no need to use the brackets.
