We just got home from Inzane Sat nite, 6409 miles round trip. Had a great time. While unloading my bike, I noticed that the front tire was worn unevenly. The right side was worn noticeably more than the left side, there was a ridge right of center.
We had literally 2000 miles of uninterrupted left lane travel at consistent speeds of 95+, the crown in the road appears to be the culprit. Tried to ride more in the right lane, but that's where the cars are!
The roads (Rte 90) in those western states were outstanding! Very clean and in great shape.
Montana was an excellent choice for Inzane this year.
. In most states, the left lane is for passing only. In WV, when you see someone running in the left lane it is usually a Ohio vehicle.
If you are consistently riding 95+ miles per hour, you are probably passing everything on the road, so left lane was probably OK.
Hope you had a great time at Inzane - would have loved to been there and have a brew with you.
