Don't know if it's legit or not but I had a Rocket III Touring. Ran well, transmission was crap. That's a major problem ^ complaint with the III.

when I purchased a 750 Aero years ago it was advertised as a Yamaha VT750 with very small odl school cell phone pics.... and was getting cheaper as weeks passed

No body touched it and when the price was at its lowest I grabbed it, turned out to be mint, just the old boy couldn't ride anymore but he didn't know computers and the daughter who was selling it new nothing about bikes :D

That's the trouble when you take all the badges off, as I did.  Honda name only can be seen on the alternator cover and VIN tag.  People always have to ask what this beast is.  Maybe I have a 2013 with 9000 miles on it.  Maybe you have to add 100k miles, who knows?
