Changed opinion of Crosslink powder coating

I have changed my opinion of Crosslink powder coating in McKinney.  I dropped off a box of parts to be powder coated including the valve covers off of my standard.  The valve covers had six coats of paint and I must have done a great job painting them because it was turning into a real bitch getting the paint off, so I asked Crosslink to sandblast the covers for me.  They powder-coated over the half-scraped paint.  I could deal with that if they made it right.  I went back today to get it fixed and he told me they looked fine and if I wanted it done over I would have to pay again to get them stripped, re-blasted and powder-coated.

Chuck, I'm  not sure what you are trying to communicate to us! Are you saying that you wouldn't recommend them?

I'm not saying don't use them, I'm saying if you use them expect absolute crap workmanship and zero customer support and expect to have to take the parts elsewhere and pay to have the crap powder coat stripped off and then done correctly.

My gut feeling, after reading the posts by Chuck, is that you have probably figured him out on this subject.
