She will not go lower than 2500 cash deal though she said to me on the phone. Where to put it though if I try to cough up say 2K cash since doubt she will sell it as is for 2500 to anyone who is wanting a NOW running bike.
Now that is interesting. The same person in this one thread above said his bike is worth $7,000 but a similar machine that needs $1,000 worth of repair is worth less than $2,500.
Perspective does interesting things depending upon the side on which we stand.
BTW, ABS. Don't go after fiberglass repair.
been tipped over huge crack in front I/S fairing and crack in side saddlebag. Doubt ABS can be repaired that bad of a crack? Am sure over 1K in repairs other missing parts as well like front turn signal and mirror, missing side cover, and who knows what else? Gas tank is off not on as well been sitting outside for over 1 year under tarp as well so who knows how much?
Black A B S hardening glue/cement. Sands out nicely easily repaintable and if you put some flat stock on the inside as stiffener it do hold up rather nicely. The black A B S hardening also works nice as a filler-think bondo on a similar application. Take yer time it's fairly decent to work with. Keep in mind how thin the stock parts actually are. RIDE SAFE.
